Our vision is to break down barriers, challenge biases, and cultivate environments where athletes and professionals of all identities and experiences feel seen, heard, and empowered.

Founder’s Welcome

Welcome to the inaugural National Sports DEI Week! When I first embarked on this journey, I envisioned a space where sports professionals, athletes, and leaders could come together to tackle one of the most pressing challenges of our time—diversity, equity, and inclusion in sports. Whether it’s on the field or in the boardroom, the importance of fostering environments where everyone feels valued cannot be overstated. As the founder of this movement, I am proud to welcome you to a week of learning, collaboration, and action.

In my years working in the sports industry, I’ve seen firsthand how diversity can elevate a team, not just in terms of performance but in building a culture of mutual respect and understanding. However, I’ve also seen how much work still needs to be done. From hiring practices and media representation to leadership opportunities, there are significant gaps that we must address. This week is about coming together to share insights, challenge the status quo, and find innovative solutions that will create lasting change.

It is my sincere hope that each of you leaves National Sports DEI Week feeling inspired and empowered to become champions of diversity and inclusion within your organizations, teams, and communities. Together, we have the power to reshape the landscape of sports into a more inclusive space for all. Thank you for being part of this important conversation, and I look forward to seeing the impact we will make together.
