As we witness the rapid expansion of this market, it’s more important than ever to ensure that it reflects the diversity of the communities it serves. Cannabis is a space of both challenge and opportunity, and through NCDEIC, we are dedicated to pushing for inclusivity at every level—whether it’s in cultivation, retail, policy-making, or advocacy.

Cannabis legalization has opened doors for economic growth, but those opportunities have not always been equally distributed. Systemic barriers, particularly for marginalized communities, have made it difficult for many to participate in this industry. It is our mission to dismantle these barriers and create pathways for success for everyone, from small business owners to corporate leaders.
