Founder’s Welcome

Welcome to the DEIB Health Awards! As someone deeply passionate about health equity and inclusion, I founded these awards to shine a light on the incredible work being done across the healthcare industry. Healthcare touches every person’s life, and ensuring that every individual receives equitable, compassionate, and culturally competent care is essential for building healthier communities.

Over the years, we have witnessed significant progress in advancing DEIB within healthcare. However, there is still much more to be done. The individuals and organizations we celebrate tonight are pioneers in breaking down barriers, advocating for underrepresented communities, and fostering a culture of belonging in healthcare settings. Their leadership and dedication are paving the way for systemic change, and I am honored to be a part of this journey.

As we gather to recognize these achievements, I encourage you to take inspiration from these honorees and consider how we can collectively push the boundaries of what’s possible. Whether you are a healthcare professional, patient advocate, or leader in your field, your work has the potential to shape the future of healthcare for the better.
